Sue Westall | Senior Family Lawyer
Sue is a well known Toowoomba Family Lawyer, with over 10 years’ experience in private practice. She specialises in children's issues, divorce, child support and property settlements matters, and her clients appreciate her real passion, empathy and practical common sense advice in in helping them solve parenting and other family law problems.
Sue also has a particular interest in domestic violence and was recently appointed as a Duty Lawyer in the Toowoomba Domestic Violence Court to assist parties appearing on DV applications.
For many years Sue has been on the committee and is a past Treasurer of the Toowoomba Childrens Contact Centre, and she is also a member of the Downs and South West Law Association and the Family Pathways network.
In 2015 Sue broadened her practice to our Brisbane office, and now keeps herself busy with clients from Toowoomba to Brisbane and beyond. She frequently appears in the Family and Federal Circuit Courts on complex family proceedings where she has a record of achieving great outcomes for her clients.
Sue also has also been trained in Collaborative Practice and is keen to develop this growing area of non-litigious family law practice (read more about Collaborative Practice here).
When she’s not at the office, Sue spends her time trying to keep up with her teenage daughters and two dogs, and confesses to being a cricket tragic.
